Super cute diner! Diverse menu, friendly waitstaff, and delicious food. Feels like a blast from the past, and a very pleasant getaway to a decade or two ago. It’s hard to find classic diners like this. And the Oktoberfest menu looks amazing!

This restaurant has such a delicious eggs Benedict, I ordered the special for the season with crab and shrimp and let me tell you something, it was full of crab, fresh crab, so tasty ! I went for dinner but I asked if they can make the eggs Benedict and the chef said Yes! ; my friend ordered the nachos and they came in small individual portions of chips and each one has beans and the aguacate and cream with the salsa on the side. It was really good . We ordered dessert, cranberry pudding with ice cream, really yummy! The service was outstanding! Grant was friendly , super nice environment!

I was a reliable customer at Reedville Cafe for about two years, until my recent move to Chicago. I usually had the Steak and Eggs for breakfast - 5+ days a week. Over that time, I really got to know the team at Reedville. The owner, Tim, and his general manager Mary are absolute class acts, who care deeply about providing that local, comfort food experience. The entire team - especially Jan, Grant, Pako, Shantel - are top class. Relentlessly friendly and welcoming. It's clear that staff enjoy what they do. You will be well taken care of. The food is very good. I was of course partial to the aforementioned steak and eggs (with a cup or three of excellent coffee). Grant convinced me on a few occasions to try some other things. The pancakes are very tasty and don't have that weird 'malty' flavor that some pancakes have. The breakfast ham is also very, very good. The staff will never steer you wrong if you know what you like. The owner has also been working with a chef consultant to experiment with some seasonal menu items. It's really impressive. This is a restaurant with a team that doesn't take your business for granted. They know they have to earn your visit by having amazing service and great comfort food. They deliver. And I hope people get to enjoy Reedville Cafe for generations to come. I will miss my near-daily breakfasts there very much. Give this great diner a try...you won't regret it and you may find yourself (like me) becoming a regular. And make sure you tell your friends and family about the place too!

The Corned Beef Hash is better than my homemade! Waffle is light and yummy, bacon lean and crisp. We will be back!

This is good American diner food. The interior is clean but dated in a nestolgic style. I found it a bit clostriphobic, wishing there were more windows. I was unfortunately seated next to a noisy service alcove. There was a lot of staff traffic. Noisy bussing bens with clinking glasses frequently were carried near my table. This made the atmosphere around my table busy and unpleasant. The place could use some modernization and improvement on service work flow design. It was too cold to enjoy the patio. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was good. The menu options are many. I will give this restaurant a second try. I will not be seated near the service alcove.

The hot chocolate and French toast combo were delicious. The presentation on the hot chocolate was fun as well! I will say they had several dining room sections and we were sat in the most cramped part of the restaurant (to be fair we didn't ask to be moved, but it's a weird section regardless.) Last, for being sort of a classic diner which has been there for 91 years you would expect a better music selection. Modern pop songs like Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter don't exactly fit the vibe. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and for visiting down here it provided a nice meal.

We had the pleasure of dining at the Reedsville Cafe this morning for the first time. A very unique and long-standing history here. We had the country fried steak and eggs with perfectly made country gravy as well as a pancake combo with plump sausage and eggs. Everything was delicious! Jan took very good care of us, and was funny, attentive, and an enjoyable part of our breakfast. Food, service, and atmosphere all 5 star. The Reedville Cafe began as the Shack Tavern in 1934, later becoming The Crab Shack around the late 1960s before the Van Beveren family, who owned the business since 1950, officially renamed it the Reedville Cafe in 1990. The restaurant, known for its American classics and seafood, was sold in early 2025 after being a family-run establishment for over 70 years. In April, Tim Sapa officially took the reins of the classic American diner off Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway, stepping in after decades of ownership by the Van Beveren family. Known for its hearty comfort fare — from omelets, pancakes and Benedicts in the morning to burgers, burritos and pastas later in the day — Reedville Cafe has long held its place as a neighborhood go-to, serving up nostalgic charm with broad appeal.
